Trunks for Trunks makes high quality, ethically sourced and sustainable underwear and other apparel that feels great on and looks even better. Then we donate our profit to programs and sanctuaries in Indonesia who are working to save the lives of Sumatran elephants.
What we’re all about
How it works
When you buy a pair of Trunks undies or other apparel, you can be confident of three things:
1.The person who made it was paid a fair price and has good working conditions.
2. We’ve made and shipped your product to you with as little impact on the environment as possible.
3. The profit (that is, the amount left over once we’ve covered the costs of our supply chain) will be donated to a sanctuary in Indonesia dedicated to protecting elephants.
4. You will absolutely love the way you feel (and look!) in your Trunks.
Ok, that’s four things. We just feel very passionate about our impact on the world
A long story short
Hi, my name is Sal! I’m a Melbourne gal who loves all creatures great and small, but my heart will always belong to the greatest of them all — elephants. I met an elephant named Jokia when I was 18 and volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary in Thailand, and have been in love with these gentle, funny and intelligent beings ever since.
When I discovered that the population of Sumatran elephants is under serious threat, I decided that I would put my years of experience in product marketing and event management to use and create a label that donated our profits to programs that ensured their survival.
I’ve been lucky enough to work for for-purpose organisations like RSPCA Victoria, Thankyou & frank green, which have inspired me to make a positive impact on the world. And now, I’m ready to take my passion for elephants to the world with Trunks for Trunks.
